At Basik, we believe confidence starts with feeling good in your own skin.

I’m Blake, the founder. Like a lot of teens, I’ve struggled with acne—not just on my face, but on my back and shoulders. The more I trained at the gym, the worse it got. I stopped wearing tank tops, avoided swimming, and felt like everyone was staring even when they probably weren’t.

I tried everything: scrubs, body washes, “miracle” products. Most didn’t work. Some left my skin dry and irritated. What I realized was simple: the skincare industry is full of solutions for facial acne, but almost nothing designed for the back, chest, and shoulders, even though body breakouts are just as common.

That’s why I created Basik, a body-focused skincare brand built to solve the problems no one else is paying attention to.
